MediSafe - Your Virtual Pillbox

Available from the Apple App, Google Play and Amazon Apps Stores

If like me you have to take more than one or two pills every day then you need a solution to the endless alarms and lists, and the dreaded thought of 'did I take that pill'?

This is the answer, it is a very comprehensive solution and is the best I have ever used.  I'm a bit of a tech-geek and use alarms and to-do lists all the time, so to find something like this is brilliant, and its FREE!  I'll quickly take you through how to set it up here...

Firstly you will need to download the app using one of the links I have added above, chosse the store depending on the device you use (iPhone/iPad = Apple, Android (HTC, Samsung, etc) = Google and Amazon Fire = Amazon).

Add Med

You start by typing in your Medication and as you enter the first few characters a list of options appear, whcih is very useful for some of the overly complex spellings we have to deal with!  The list also gives you the medication dosage sizes to choose, just match your prescrption, as this will help when you need to reorder.

If the list does not show the correct Dose - say you take Naproxen at 1000mg but it only shows 500mg, then add the 500mg first then you will get the chance to alter it at the next step (Medication Info).
