When your child has a cough, cold, earache or sore throat, it can be hard to know what’s normal and when to worry. As GP’s, we see children with these infections every day and we know how stressful it can feel for parents and carers.
In this video, Dr Sophie GP explains:
• The most common childhood respiratory infections (coughs, colds, sore throats, ear infections, croup)
• How to manage them safely at home
• The red flag symptoms that mean your child needs urgent medical attention
• Why antibiotics aren’t always the answer
• Myth busting around cough syrups, cold remedies and quick fixes
This video will give you the knowledge and reassurance you need, when to get help, when to act, and when your child just needs rest and lots of cuddles!
